I have spent an entire year going back and forth between my insurance, healthcare provider, and a collections agency(!) about a bogus $120 charge. Everyone I have spoken to agrees that I do not owe the money, but none of their systems are capable of rectifying the issue...

I meant to update this more often but honestly I forgot about it. Ayla and I both survived, and it was actually a really rewarding and fun experience having so much one-on-one time, though it was sometimes challenging. Kids are great, it's like having a tiny helpless best friend.

Day 1: the wife is leaving for ten days on a business trip. It will be just me and a ~1 yr old baby. The closest grandparent is hundreds of miles away. The goal is for at least one of us to survive this.

Ayla has slept through the night every night for probably the last 3 months. Last night, on Night One with no mom around, she breaks out in hives and is very much awake from about 11 pm until 2 am. We're off to a great start!
