📣📣Huge shout out to the 19 bus drivers, 76 chaperones, 738 students, and 99 staff members that made Friday’s field trip to the 2026 KY State Fair possible. It’s a giant task for the school community and worth it. Each Explore Pathway was well represented, along with the Arts.

@LouMetro311 - just wanted to give LouisvilleMetro an FYI that there’s a dead tree right next to some utility-boxes / circuits, which could be damaged if dead limbs were to fall from the tree onto the circuitry - this is right across the st from car-wash @ No. 8820 Salsman Dr:

8th graders will be promoted, but their roots run deep at HMS. Last year they saved zinnia seeds and this spring, planted them again. By promotion day, those flowers will be in full bloom. That’s the magic of this program: the work doesn’t end when you leave. It grows. 🌱
