Hurt feelings is very 2009 to me. 2009 ash was gearing up to become Halsey. Hurt feelings is a song about the version of me right before I became Halsey. The version of me most often forgotten. Inner child gets work, Halsey gets work. The middle years get lost. I owe it to her.
