@bphillipsonMP Edited for accuracy:
Labour is putting education back, starting with Children’s wellbeing. Most specifically children in Independent Schools from middle income families, whose education, strong social bonds & mental health are of no concern in pursuit of our political ideology.
@bphillipsonMP@educationgovuk Imposing a policy of discrimination and prejudice to punish CHILDREN whose ‘crime’ is to be born to middle income parents who choose to spend their money on education. Parents whose earnings are half your own. All in the pursuit of political ideology over children’s mental health
@bphillipsonMP@educationgovuk Increasing the gap between the very wealthiest and those who sacrifice: holidays, new cars, new clothes, top range phones, tv, other goods to send their children to independent schools. Totally ignoring the negative impact a change of schools has on CHILDREN.
@bphillipsonMP@educationgovuk Please add: Causing distress to the children of middle income earners who choose to use their money to send their children to Independent School, by adding VAT. Having to change schools in their GCSE years, in areas where there are NO SPACES.
Session logistics:

Boys may have attended independent schools for a while, whilst others started in state schools and then went to Independent schools in the sixth form… often because of the work done in the Academy.
@stu_arm I was once taught a valuable lesson. Having coached a group for a year or so, with 3 v 3/3 v 2 warm ups etc, I asked one of the other coaches to warm them up.
He did so by jogging around the pitch and doing exercises on each line.
I was fuming (to continue)
