@JuliaHB1 @RayMegah When I worked in the NHS badges were stopped due to the danger of them scratching patients during lifting and handling. When was this stopped? Any badge has that potential. Just leave politics and discrimination at the door when working.

Granddad made us stilts and Nana stood for hours with a huge skipping rope turning it for us whilst other end tied to a large tree trunk. Scrumping peas in his garden and gooseberries too. Loved them.

@JournalistJill I don’t understand why some are finding it so painful? I can’t say that I have ever been in real pain from them. At most it’s uncomfortable for a moment and I have a tilted womb that makes it a little more awkward. Are some nurses being unduly rough? Please do have them.
