1 John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins,he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”. This verse relates to the book because Annies mom encouraged Annie to come to terms with the mistakes she made in the past.
In my opinion, I believe #relationships with you parents are important whether you realize it or not. An ideal parent is very caring towards their child and has their best interest in mind. Parents should be supportive of their children and communicate with them.

These past few days, our religion class has made rosaries and learnt about their uses in the Catholic tradition. From this, I have learnt about the prayers said along with the rosary and it’s importance to others.

Today I learnt that St. Marguerite d’Youville was an amazing woman who unfortunately went through a lot of troubles in her life. From this she shows the principal “we learn from our mistakes and become better people” from Jean Vanier’s 5 Principles of Humanity

One of Jean Vanier’s principals of humanity is “our lives are in the process of evolving”. From this I understood that from our mistakes we learn to become better people.

Winter is a time where many things around us “die”. Spring is often a time of new life. In the same way I’ve had a relationship die but from that relationship a new relationship was born! Surprisingly in nature we can see similarities with our daily lives

Human Vocation - we learn that humans are created in the image and likeness of God. As such humans are capable of forgiving as God forgives! In the bible God demonstrates forgiveness in the story of the crucifixion.”
