Loved #Survivor50 but I do think it highlighted an issue with returning player seasons, which is that they often have pregame relationships from past appearances that undermine the game. The final vote felt like Aubry was gifted a #Survivor lifetime achievement award.
Tuch seems like a first class person and teammate, but I’m not sure keeping him would be the best use of resources. Paying a 30 year old player coming off playoff underachievement is certainly not the best recipe for success.
The fact that James Harden’s natural reaction to his arm being grabbed is to throw his head back tells you everything you need to know about him as an athlete. #DetroitBasketball
I can’t decide if seeing Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson right away is a good thing or not. Playing again four days later certainly doesn’t feel like one.
@PistonsThoughts@OfficialNBARefs 127-74 total attempts since Game 1. That’s +13 per game. Still 143-109 if you include Game 1. Seven additional FTA per game in a five game series where the margin of victory has not yet been bigger than 10 points.
You’re not always going to be the better team but in the playoffs you gotta find a way. #Sabres showed some serious guts and resilience tonight despite being unable to get out of their own way for so much of the game.
I just watched a goalie make a glove save (albeit behind the goal line) and the league ruled that he didn’t have the ability to defend his position. With the puck in his glove!!
This right here is what makes the coverage of hockey insufferable. Doesn’t matter if Schenn is totally washed, skates eight minutes, or has been practicing with the Sabres for two months. It’ll make a difference NOW. Just zoom out and think about that. Imagine believing it.
