The #UNGA has adopted the resolution on the status of #IDPs and refugees from Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region of🇬🇪 with a record 107 votes in favour.
We thank all states that stood with🇬🇪 & supported the right of displaced persons to a safe, dignified and unhindered return.

Today is the Day of Remembrance for the Children Killed by Russia. Officially, it has a different name. But in the language of truth, this is exactly what it is. This day is about the most painful episodes of the war, about the greatest injustice and the evil Russia inflicts when the most vulnerable and the most innocent are killed. Children.

Currently, that figure is at least 707 Ukrainian children. And there are also thousands of children whom Russia has wounded, abducted, and thousands of children whose fate remains unknown. These are important and horrifying figures, but behind them lies something greater than statistics about Russian crimes alone. These were children's dreams, plans, and hopes that were simply erased. This is the pain of every mother and every father who does not know how to go on living with that. Living with such pain.

Our Ukrainian children. Some were only a few days old. Some had just started first grade. Others should have been celebrating their graduation. This is who a sick state is waging war against. This is who the so-called second army of the world is fighting – an army incapable of winning on the battlefield and seeking to assert itself by targeting children.

Eternal memory to every child who was killed. It is our enduring duty to remember, to protect our children, and to do everything possible to ensure that the evil Russia has brought is punished.

🇺🇦🇦🇿Had a substantive dialogue with Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy @minenergyaze, @ParvizShahbazov. We discussed the implementation of agreements reached between President of Ukraine @ZelenskyyUa and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev @presidentaz on energy cooperation. Special attention was paid to the development of energy transportation routes, including to 🇪🇺 countries using Ukrainian infrastructure. Last year's first test delivery of Azerbaijani gas to Ukraine confirmed the practical potential of the Trans-Balkan route and its importance for regional energy security. We are interested in expanding a long-term partnership.
We raised the issue of restoring and strengthening the resilience of Ukraine's energy infrastructure damaged as a result of russian attacks. Azerbaijani businesses are ready to invest in Ukrainian projects. We are prepared to provide them with comprehensive support.
We highly value Azerbaijan's support in providing health rehabilitation for children of Ukrainian defenders. We discussed the possibility of extending the programme to children of fallen energy sector workers. Minister Parviz Shahbazov and I, as co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission, agreed to hold its session this autumn in Ukraine. Items on the agenda include the development of ferry services, expanding food trade, cooperation in education and science, and the joint development of innovation and technology.
I am grateful to Azerbaijan for its consistent support of Ukraine's energy sector, including the provision of transformers 🤝 The supplied equipment and humanitarian assistance helped our energy workers to hold on during the most difficult periods.

Обговорили реалізацію домовленостей, досягнутих між Президентом України Володимиром Зеленським та Президентом Азербайджану Ільхамом Алієвим щодо співпраці у сфері енергетики. Окрему увагу приділили питанням розвитку маршрутів транспортування енергоносіїв, зокрема в країни ЄС із використанням української інфраструктури. Перша тестова поставка азербайджанського газу до України минулого року підтвердила практичний потенціал Трансбалканського маршруту та його важливість для регіональної енергетичної безпеки. Зацікавлені у розширенні довгострокового партнерства.
Порушили питання відновлення та посилення стійкості української енергетичної інфраструктури, пошкодженої внаслідок російських атак. Азербайджанський бізнес готовий інвестувати в українські проєкти. Готові надавати їм усебічну підтримку.
Високо цінуємо підтримку Азербайджану в оздоровленні дітей українських захисників. Обговорили можливість розширення програми на дітей загиблих енергетиків. Домовилися з паном Шахбазовим як співголови міжурядової комісії провести її засідання восени цього року в Україні. Серед питань �� розвиток паромних перевезень, розширення торгівлі продуктами харчування, співпраця у сфері освіти та науки, спільний розвиток інновацій та технологій.
Вдячний Азербайджану за послідовну підтримку українського енергетичного сектору, зокрема за надання трансформат��рів. Надане обладнання та гуманітарна допомога допомогли нашим енергетикам вистояти у найскладніші періоди.

Nice to meet and wish a safe trip to another group consisting of 30 Ukrainian children who dispatches to Azerbaijan and will enjoy next two weeks in Baku and countryside. So far, 624 children have benefited from fully covered rehabilitation programme offered by Azerbaijan. 🇦🇿🤝🇺🇦

I expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and resilience. Baku has been supporting Ukraine's energy sector since the very first days of russia's full-scale invasion. Transformers from our partners play a vital role in sustaining the resilience of our energy system, and Azerbaijani gas supplies helped Ukraine endure the extraordinarily difficult wartime winter of 2025-2026.
We will deepen our cooperation — and not only in energy ⚡ The partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan is strategic in nature. Today, our cooperation is above all a prerequisite for regional security across South-Eastern and Central Europe in all its dimensions.

🇺🇦🇲🇩 On the sidelines of the Baku Energy Forum, I held a meeting with Moldova’s Minister of Energy @DorinJunghietu.
Moldova is our important partner in developing the southern gas supply route. We discussed cooperation within the Vertical Gas Corridor and increasing the technical capacity of the route.
Moldova has reduced tariffs for the use of the corridor by 90%, for which I personally thanked them. This opens up additional opportunities for developing cooperation, in particular for gas supplies via the Trans-Balkan route to Central 🇪🇺 countries, not only to Ukraine.
Among other key areas of cooperation:
➖ improving emergency mutual assistance mechanisms;
➖ coordinating the balancing of energy systems;
➖ joint maintenance, restoration and expansion of interconnectors, and implementation of relevant infrastructure projects.
In particular, agreements are being prepared for signing in the near future on the development of the Bălți — Dnistrovska HPP interconnector, which will expand our transit capabilities.
We thank Moldova for consistent practical cooperation in the energy sector, which is already strengthening energy stability in the region 🇺🇦🤝🇲🇩

🇺🇦🇲🇩 На полях енергетичного форуму в Баку провів зустріч із Міністром енергетики Молдови Доріном Жунгієту.
Молдова наш важливий партнер у розвитку південного маршруту постачання газу. Обговорили співпрацю в рамках Вертикально��о газового коридору та збільшення технічної потужності маршруту. Молдова на 90% зменшила тарифи на використання коридору, за що подякував особисто. Це відкриває додаткові можливості для розвитку співпраці, зокрема, для постачання газу Трансбалканським маршрутом до країн Центральної Європи, а не лише України.
Серед інших ключових напрямів співпраці:
➖ удосконалення механізмів екстреної взаємодопомоги;
➖ координація балансування енергосистем;
➖ спільне обслуговування, відновлення та розширення інтерконекторів, реалізація відповідних інфраструктурних проєктів.
Зокрема, найближчим часом готується підписання домовленостей щодо розвитку інтерконектора "Бєльці — Дністровська ГЕС", що розширить наші транзитні можливості.
Дякуємо Молдові за послідовну практичну співпрацю в енергетичній сфері, яка вже зміцнює енергетичну стабільність у регіоні.

Hundreds of drones. Dozens of missiles. Civilians killed. Children injured. Homes and hospitals damaged.

I unequivocally condemn Russia’s latest massive attack against Ukraine. There can be no justification for strikes that kill civilians and target residential areas and critical civilian infrastructure.

The Republic of Moldova stands with Ukraine.

Civilian lives are not collateral damage. Those responsible for these attacks must be held accountable.

27th Meeting of the #ODEDGUAM 🇦🇿🇬🇪🇲🇩🇺🇦Working Sub Group on Combating Terrorism

More than 500 personnel of the State Emergency Service have been involved in dealing with the aftermath of Russia’s overnight attack on our cities and communities. The main strike was on Kyiv, where dozens of residential buildings and other purely civilian infrastructure were damaged again. Tragically, four people have been reported killed. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. At this moment, 38 people are in hospitals in the capital, and all of them are receiving the necessary care.

In Dnipro, a search and rescue operation is ongoing at the site of a four-story apartment building. Part of the building was essentially demolished. Nine people were killed in this attack, including a child. Thirty-five people were injured in the city. The fate of six more people remains unknown. The search for them will continue for as long as necessary.

The Russians also struck energy facilities in the Kharkiv region and critical infrastructure in Kharkiv. Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions also came under attack.

In total, overnight Russia launched 656 attack drones and 73 missiles of various types at our people – ballistic, cruise, and anti-ship missiles. A large-scale attack and an absolutely clear statement from Russia: if Ukraine is not protected from ballistic and other missile strikes, these attacks will continue. Europe needs its own anti-ballistic defense so that this war can finally be brought to an end. And assistance from the United States in supplying missiles for Patriot systems is absolutely necessary. We are counting on the support of our partners and on effective responses to today’s attack.

And I thank all Ukrainian men and women for not ignoring air raid alerts.

On the night of June 2, Russia launched another large-scale attack against Ukraine.

In Kyiv, Russian attack killed four people and injured at least 58, including three children. The strikes damaged residential buildings and civilian infrastructure across several districts of the capital. A nine-storey residential building was hit, causing the partial collapse of its upper floors. Emergency services continue to search the rubble as people may still be trapped underneath.

In the Dnipro region, seven people were killed and 35 injured in Russian attacks on residential areas in Dnipro and Kamianske. Among them are 3 kids. During rescue operations following the initial strike, Russia launched a second attack that killed a rescuer. Search and rescue operations continue.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian attack injured at least 14 people, including a child. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged in several communities across the region.

In the Chernihiv region, a 15-year-old boy was injured. Among the damaged facilities are warehouses, a school and private homes.

Russia continues to wage war against civilians. More pressure on the aggressor, stronger sanctions, and more support for Ukraine's air defence are needed to save lives.

Ukraine has gained unique experience in countering energy terror. Today, we are transforming this experience into practical solutions. I spoke about this during the Baku Energy Forum.
I also expressed my gratitude to Azerbaijan for its contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience. During the most difficult period of last winter, our Azerbaijani friends provided generators, transformers, cable products, and other critically important equipment. Since the start of the full-scale war, Azerbaijan has announced 11 energy support packages for Ukraine.
I shared Ukraine’s experience in countering energy terror and the practical solutions that are already delivering tangible results.
📌 First, we need to think not only in terms of protecting facilities, but also in terms of protecting functions.
📌 Second, protection must be built into the energy system itself.
📌 Third, distributed energy resources are becoming one of the key responses to modern energy security challenges.
📌 Fourth, the speed of recovery preserves the most valuable resource – time.
📌 Fifth, diversification of energy sources and supply routes is essential. Here, Ukraine and Azerbaijan can do a great deal for Europe, particularly by expanding access to non-russian gas and oil.
Ukraine has gained this unique expertise at a very high price. We are ready to share it for the sake of our common security and a better future for our nations 🇺🇦🤝🇦🇿

Україна здобула унікальний досвід протидії енергетичному терору. Сьогодні ми перетворюємо його на практичні рішення. Зазначив про це під час Бакинського енергетичного форуму.
Окремо подякував Азербайджану за внесок у зміцнення енергетичної стійкості України. 📌 По-перше, нам потрібно думати не лише категоріями захисту об’єктів, а категоріями захисту функцій.
📌 Другий підхід полягає в тому, що захист має бути вбудований у саму енергетичну систему.
📌 Третій підхід — розподілені енергетичні ресурси стають однією з ключових відповідей на сучасні виклики енергетичної безпеки.
📌 Четвертий підхід — швидкість відновлення зберігає найцінніший ресурс — час.
📌 П’ятий підхід — диверсифікація джерел енергії та маршрутів постачання. Тут Україна та Азербайджан можуть зробити дуже багато для Європи — особливо шляхом розширення доступу до неросійських газу та нафти.
Україна здобула цю унікальну експертизу високою ціною. Ми готові ділитися нею заради нашої спільної безпеки та кращого майбутнього наших народів.
