The @Softball_GU_ team was defeated by Washington University yesterday in the elimination round of the NCAA DIII Softball Tournament. The Panthers ended their regular season with a program record of 31-7 and won the SLIAC championship days prior to their defeat by the Bears.

The Panthers earned an early lead thanks to a run scored by Madi Case in the first inning, and after a run by Josie Grunloh in the fifth and another run by Case in the seventh, the Panthers secured their victory.
