Jantar Mantar permission is cancelled by Delhi Police Commissioner. Now new venue is *CBD Ground, Delhi - authorized by Delhi Police.*

*🔴 IMPORTANT - VENUE CHANGE FOR DELHI DHARNA 🔴*

Dear Colleagues,
As you all know, on the call of LPG Distributors Association (I), all distributors were to hold a protest at *Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on 26th Oct 2026*, but *Delhi Police Commissioner has banned dharna at the said location*.

Therefore, the Association has booked the *CBD Ground of Delhi Development Authority (DDA)*, which is an authorized protest site by Delhi Police, and has also deposited the required amount.

The dharna sponsored by the Association will be held as per schedule on *26th October 2026 at 12:00 PM at CBD Ground, New Delhi*. Current location is being shared.

All distributor colleagues are requested to be present in maximum numbers along with all colleagues from your district at CBD Ground, New Delhi at 12:00 PM on 26th October 2026.

*All LPG DISTRIBUTORS DESERVE JUSTICE, NOT OBSTACLES :*

The democratic principle applies to LPG distributors fighting for their livelihood, dignity, and justice.

An LDAI association is formed to protect the interests of its members. Likewise, a peaceful protest is an important democratic means through which citizens and business communities can bring genuine grievances to the attention of the Government.

Our LPG distributors were preparing for the Jantar Mantar protest scheduled for 26 October 2026, with the hope of raising long-pending issues concerning inadequate distributor commissions, Unviable Distributors problems, increasing operational costs, unfair business practices, and the financial survival of thousands of LPG distributorships.

But suddenly, the Delhi situation changed.

*Several questions naturally arise:*

🔹 Why are peaceful protesters facing such difficulties in securing a suitable venue?

🔹 If one protest venue is unavailable, why should arranging an alternative become an additional financial burden on a community already struggling with its business expenses?

🔹 Should citizens and small business owners have to overcome repeated administrative and financial obstacles merely to make their legitimate grievances heard?

🔹 Is peaceful democratic protest becoming increasingly difficult for ordinary citizens and business communities?

We recognise that public demonstrations must comply with applicable laws, permissions, security requirements, and venue regulations. However, the administration of public spaces must also respect the constitutional freedom to assemble peacefully and express grievances.

Our concern is not about opposing lawful regulation. Our concern is whether the arrangements being imposed are reasonable, transparent, accessible, and fair to peaceful protesters.

🔥 LPG DISTRIBUTORS ARE NOT ASKING FOR FAVOURS. THEY ARE DEMANDING JUSTICE!

For years, LPG distributors have supported the country's essential fuel distribution network. They have served domestic consumers, PMUY beneficiaries, and commercial customers while facing rising establishment costs, delivery expenses, manpower shortages, technological failures, and inadequate returns.

When their grievances remain unresolved, they have every reason to seek the attention of the Government through lawful and peaceful democratic means.

A change of venue must not become a defeat of the cause. An additional expense must not become a barrier to the voice of the people. An administrative difficulty must not destroy the unity of an entire business community.

Our determination must remain stronger than our difficulties.

✊ OUR MESSAGE TO EVERY LPG DISTRIBUTOR

Dear Distributors,

Do not lose hope. Do not become divided. Do not allow uncertainty about the venue to weaken our collective movement.

26 OCTOBER 2026 IS NOT MERELY A DATE — IT REPRESENTS OUR COLLECTIVE DETERMINATION TO SEEK JUSTICE.

Our objective remains unchanged:

✅ Fair and adequate distributor commission.
✅ Relief from unjustified financial burdens.
✅ Transparency and accountability in OMC operations.
✅ Protection from coercive and unreasonable business practices.
✅ Respect for the dignity and economic survival of LPG distributors.

We must stand united, remain disciplined, and proceed through lawful and peaceful means.

OUR VENUE MAY CHANGE, BUT OUR DEMAND FOR JUSTICE WILL NOT CHANGE!

⚖️ LET DEMOCRACY PROTECT THE VOICE OF LPG DISTRIBUTORS — NOT ALLOW ADMINISTRATIVE DIFFICULTIES TO SILENCE IT.

पूर्वांचल एलपीजी वितरक संघ के तत्वावधान में वितरकों की विभिन्न मांगों के समर्थन में दिनांक 17 अक्टूबर 2026 (शनिवार) को गोरखपुर में कैंडल मार्च का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।

इसका उद्देश्य 26 अक्टूबर को जंतर-मंतर, नई दिल्ली में होने वाले प्रदर्शन की रूपरेखा तैयार करना एवं संगठन की एकजुटता प्रदर्शित करना है।

देवरिया, संत कबीर नगर, महाराजगंज, कुशीनगर, आजमगढ़, मऊ, बस्ती, सिद्धार्थनगर, बलिया, अंबेडकर नगर एवं पूरे पूर्वांचल के सभी वितरक साथियों से अनुरोध है कि अधिक से अधिक संख्या में पहुँचकर कैंडल मार्च को सफल बनाएं तथा संगठन को मजबूती प्रदान करें।
