Dear Members,
As many of you know, the recent floods have devastated thousands of families across Assam, especially in Sivasagar, Charaideo, and Jorhat. Many people have lost their homes, belongings, and access to basic necessities.

The Gauhati University Research Scholars' Association (GURSA) has launched the Assam Flood Relief Drive to support the affected families with food, clean drinking water, medicines, clothing, hygiene kits, and other essential relief materials.

In Assam, the 2026 Assembly verdict wasn’t about slogans alone. It reflected a calibrated mix of political leadership, grassroots human connect, and governance delivery, what I call the 3H model: Himanta, Hindutva in the Assam context, and Holistic Development. At its core is the ability to turn governance into lived experience, identity into policy, and leadership into trust.
