Watch: Gujarat is rapidly advancing towards ‘Net Zero’ under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ���Clean and Green India’ vision, reducing carbon emissions by 49.79 million tonnes and generating a record 67,655 million units of green electricity in FY 2025-26. Under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s guidance, the state has reduced 179 million tonnes of carbon emissions over five years. Expansion of solar and wind energy, along with PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and PM-KUSUM, is driving green growth. With the Integrated RE Policy-2026 and Green Hydrogen Policy, Gujarat is moving towards 100 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030, strengthening its position as a model green-energy state.

• SJVN – 210 MW Luhri Stage-I, 382 MW Sunni Dam & 66 MW Dhaulasidh
• NHPC – 1,856 MW Sawalkot & 1,720 MW Kamala
