Eating healthy in Nigeria is not luxury… but it doesn’t have to be 🥲
Beans, ugu, okra are underrated healthy meals.
Eggs too
It’s not about fancy diets.
It’s about using what you have in a better way
Drink more water.
Buy fruits in season.
Add veggies where you can.
We talk about maternal deaths like they start in hospitals.
But sometimes… it starts in the kitchen.
One meal a day, no protein and barely any nutrients.
And we expect her body to carry life safely?
That’s not just a health issue.
That’s food insecurity.
That’s poverty.😪
I’m launching a 21-Day Healthcare & Wellbeing Series for anyone who wants to take better care of themselves — even with a busy schedule.
Expect simple tips, tiny habits, and health hacks you can actually stick to.
Let’s make wellbeing doable for everyone. 💙
Day 1 drops soon.
Nigeria needs more health practitioners in the media space.
Whether through content creation, online advocacy, or community education, it’s time for health professionals to show up.
We can’t keep silent while misinformation thrives and health awareness remains low.
Not all heroes wear capes
Some of them wear white coats and carry with them a stethoscope
Some of them are experts with syringe needle and cotton wool
Some of them test body fluids to figure out abnormalities in a person
Not all heroes wear capes, but most go unnoticed
There are health practitioners that work diligently to see patients get better
Even when they're overwhelmed, tired and even underpaid, they still show up and make sure lives are saved
Hats off to every diligent health worker out there.
Your efforts don't go unnoticed
We cannot continue like this.
Nigeria loses billions every year to medical tourism while millions of citizens at home are left without health coverage
I'm really looking forward to the point where healthcare won't be a privilege for the few & become accessible to every Nigerian
1. There are not enough health workers.
2. Only 1 in 10 Nigerians has health insurance.
3. Only half of childbirths are attended by skilled professionals.
4. Govt spending on healthcare remains among the lowest in Africa.

🎥 A 30-Minutes Video Can Save Lives
When health creators create awareness online, it’s more than just content.
✨ It’s public education
✨ It’s disease prevention
✨ It’s saving lives
Social media is not just entertainment — it’s a tool for healthier, longer lives in Africa.
Africa has only 3% of the world’s healthcare workers but carries the highest disease burden.
Patients wait days for care.
Communities lack access.
Health workers are burning out.
This is a crisis — but also a call for urgent action. 🌍
