@katieemeyer4 The “countering teachers’ unions thing is disingenuous. As part of @basdproudparent, the voucher push would defund our schools and raise local taxes. We’re trying to do all we can to push back at the grassroots level.
@MikeSchlossberg They’ve gotta know they’re losing this right? I mean @basdproudparent has almost as many followers on social media and in our email list than the total number of current private school parents in our district.
.@RepSusanWild I ask that you oppose Chip Roy's amendment, for Title I to "follow the child." Don't allow Title I to turn into a voucher. https://t.co/BwuoIF5H5J
NEW: In a historic victory for students, a judge has declared Pennsylvania's school funding system unconstitutional.
We proved that the students who need the most have the least, because the state shortchanges low-wealth communities. It's time to change that.
Here's a look at the PA education landscape as it stands going into the Shapiro administration. Lots to navigate, but our stance remains: Fully funding public schools is the only path to true equity—and true equity is the only path to true success.

Three months after the federal government stopped providing free school meals to all public school students, some districts are reporting thousands of dollars in unpaid bills. https://t.co/VFYF2zRx8G
It’s official, Colorado voters passed Prop FF to give ALL public school students the option to eat two free school meals daily, regardless of their family’s income. No more shame, worry, or stigma, because a child doesn’t have money to eat. Thanks @hungerfreeco#copolitics & you!
