I don’t know…in this case SR was a door kicker. But, if I’m not wrong his time in service was less than 7 years. That’s two enlistments. I think he was an E5. No doubt an excellent operator, lethal in every way, but like most operators of similar rank and time in service, I’m certain he was tactically focused and probably less concerned with the strategic implications of the door he was about to kick in. I will say, however, he’s had some serious people sitting across from him and if he’s being attentive he should understand why certain decisions are being made regardless of how he feels about those decisions. I give him a pass on what he should know strategically as an operator but less so as a major personality as a podcaster.
