School is out but we're still fishing. Skip and Mark become the second Tupelo team to win the AOY title with the UTSAT. They will represent Tupelo High School and Mississippi at the national championship at Grand Lake in Oklahoma next week. @TupeloHigh @tupeloschools

Good luck to Braiden Towery and Benjamin Waters as they compete in the BASS High School State Championship this week on the coast. Braiden has qualified and fished in the BASS State Championship 5 times since he started competing as a 7th grader. Good luck! 🏆 @TupeloHigh

Congrats to Skip Howell on placing 3rd in the Pickwick Winter Trail Classic. Skip also landed the largest smallmouth of the tournament. Now that winter fishing is over, Skip has his eyes set on qualifying for a high school national championship and winning a state championship.

Skip Howell and Mark Davis continue their run with a second place finish at Columbus Lake on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. They continue to hold on to the AOY lead in the UTSAT trail.

Skip Howell showed out today and took the lead in the angler of the year standings with two wins in the combined BASS and TBF high school event in Smithville on the Tenn-Tom waterway today. He has two tournaments to go to lock in a trip to the National Championship. @TupeloHigh

Congratulations to Isaac Monroe and Brayden Towery on placing 3rd in Saturday's B.A.S.S High School Nation tournament on Bay Springs Lake! They had 14 pounds of spotted bass and largemouth bass. Skip Howell and Mark West also brought in fish to the scales. @TupeloAthletics

Skip Howell (9th) and Mark West (9th) placed 1st in the Mississippi @bassmaster B.A.S.S. High School Nation North Division tournament on Pickwick Lake with a total of 17.95 pounds. The largest bag in school club history. They also won lunker. Congrats guys! @TupeloHigh

Skip got the win in the junior division at the final BASS High School Nation tournament of 2022 and is officially qualified for the state championship along with our high school team of Braiden Towery and Isaac Monroe.
