This weekend, nearly 100 George Washington University first-year students joined DOEE and the Mayor’s Office of the Clean City @CleanCityDC to remove invasive plants and trash for the university’s Welcome Day of Service in public schools and parks throughout the District.
Thanks Class of ‘29 for your stewardship efforts! You played an important role in the District's ongoing efforts to restore the native ecology of the RFK Campus Riparian Area and protect the Anacostia Watershed and Kingman and Heritage Islands from trash pollution.
