Are you aware of how budget allocations actually happen?

Are you suggesting that I could wake up, prepare a budget of N10 billion for the “Petroleum Trust Fund”, then persuade the Budget Office to assign a specific code, and that code would be allocated to the PRESIDENCY? Then I could go to NASS, have NASS allocate billions to that Petroleum Trust Fund code, return to NASS to defend those billions, and finally get the President's signature?

I then go to the Federal Secretariat, rent an office, host seminars with foreign ambassadors in Abuja, and even visit the EFCC? All of this just because someone forgot to remove an accounting line?

The real issue in Nigeria isn't these politicians; it's the poor voters who believe they are helping politicians but are actually suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

For any true Nigerian to even attempt a defence of this chaos shows how low morals have fallen in our society.

I INDEPENDENTLY SEARCHED NIGERIA'S BUDGET DOCUMENTS FROM 2019 TO THE PRESENT. HERE IS WHAT I FOUND ABOUT THE PFIPC SCANDAL THAT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT.

THE NAME DID NOT COME FROM NOWHERE

Everyone is focused on Adeyemi the man. Nobody has gone back to ask where the name "Presidential Economic Advisory Council" actually came from. I did. And the answer changes this entire story.

The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is not a Tinubu creation. Tinubu's economic body is called the Presidential Economic Coordination Council. He established it in March 2024, inaugurated it in July 2024, and chairs it himself alongside Dangote, Elumelu, the Senate President and the Governors Forum Chairman. It has a different name, a different structure and a different budget code.

The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is a creation of Buhari. Buhari established it in September 2019 to replace the Economic Management Team that Osinbajo was heading. It had real named members. Prof. Doyin Salami as chairman. Charles Soludo. Bismark Rewane. Eight economists reporting directly to the President with a defined mandate and a legal institutional identity.

When Tinubu came in and created the PECC in 2024, the Buhari-era PEAC was never formally dissolved. No gazette removing it. No Budget Office circular revoking its institutional identity. It simply went dormant. But dormant in Nigeria's government system is not the same as deleted.

That dormant status is exactly what was exploited.

DIKO GOT WHAT WE DESERVED.

I never wanted to say anything but many people in my dm wanting to know my opinion about my community saga.

My one cent about the ongoing land grabbing in diko, the Governor isn't to be faulted about the land grabbing in diko, but the ones we call our elder and leaders in diko who were supposed to be our guide and spokespersons, the persons who were suppose to defend our land and ensure we were favoured, but it looked more or less like they have been bought by the government, so you can't really blame the government for the land grabbing but our traditional leaders here in diko.

we even just look at the land acquired by the governor because that's the top priority now and all eyes and ears are looking at whats happening right now but what about the lands at the hill side of diko that have been sold by our so called traditional leaders sorry to call them so called, last year while in diko there was a large blast from those rocks by those companies which shaked nearly everywhere did we talk about that??

Our traditional leaders are selfish and self centered only concerned about their pockets if we the youths had stood our ground since, I guess it wouldn't have gotten to this stage but thank God we are gradually waking up, and i pray we don't wake up one day to see that the whole of diko has been sold while we were asleep.
Diko would be great, but first we have to fight for it and don't have gullible people as leaders that when any tom dick and Harry comes with a bag, we sell our right. It's well.
