I said what I said because the E-thot was being an elitist about a fucking card game. Little bro trying to nit pick my profile cause they couldn’t refute my argument. You’re a bitch too.
@redman2408@DeepSeaDenizen@ArchnemesesDel Regardless. It’s a bad take, a bad opinion. Educate and disprove them. Them posting that isn’t gonna stop new players from playing YGO. New players are gonna play if they’re committed to learning. Not because of some random poster’s experience on Twitter. Lol
@redman2408@DeepSeaDenizen@ArchnemesesDel We both can agree that MD and paper YGO has polarizing games depending on the format. And I don’t understand the notion of “condemning their actions” when all they did was post a take. You’re just upset that a random person said “Yugioh is un fun for me.” Wow, what a crime. 🙄
@redman2408@DeepSeaDenizen@ArchnemesesDel For all we know, the OP could have been referring to Master Duel, where the bo1 formatting and rule set is completely different than TCG/OCG. Regardless, there’s better ways of disproving their opinions than insulting them. You’re simply trying to justify being a jerk.
@DeepSeaDenizen@ArchnemesesDel “Poisoning the well?” I highly doubt their opinion is going to harm the game. You’re trying to rationalize belittling them because you’re just assuming they’re engagement farming. If anything, the YGO community should be trying to prove their points wrong in less hostile ways
@DejaWukong God forbid someone criticizes the current state of the game, and expresses valid frustrations about gameplay experiences right? I swear comp YGO players think that the game is perfect, but then bitch about certain cards or archetypes being too strong. 🙄
@lilypadlame_o@AgeofGaron@FoxxieLaLune I can agree that the OP shouldn’t have used “unplayable” to describe going second. (Clearly an exaggeration) However, I still feel the YGO community shouldn’t be so quick to be dismissive of someone expressing their grievances with the game and assuming they’re just “bad at ygo”
@AgeofGaron@lilypadlame_o@FoxxieLaLune You’re allowed to criticize things you enjoy. If you fall off naturally, that’s also fine too. Critique ≠ “crying” Asking for a less polarizing format/gameplay isn’t “crying.” But w/e I clearly can’t change your viewpoint. 🤷♂️
@AgeofGaron@lilypadlame_o@FoxxieLaLune But the winner was is Jesse Cotton. And you can still get lucky going second despite his high skill level. It doesn’t change the fact that going second in Yugioh isn’t grueling if you don’t have the outs. Also likely the OP was referring to MD where there’s no siding.
@AgeofGaron@FoxxieLaLune You played during a different time. YGO probably changed a lot since you quit, and more TCG options have released since then. So obviously you didn’t hear that much outcry from a select group of players. My point is why is it such a trigger point when people criticize the game?
