大西敦子絵画展 ～色彩による交響詩～

それぞれの色を線で区切る繊細な技法を用い、色彩そのものが持つ力を追求しながら、鮮烈でありながら柔らかな色彩美による独自の表現を拓くべく、制作に取り組んでまいりました。
本展では、平面に広がる静けさや時間が留まる感覚に加え、クラシック音楽から着想を得た作品を通して、色彩が奏でる旋律やリズムを感じていただけましたら幸いです。

I have been creating art using a delicate technique of separating each color with lines. Through this process, I explore the power of color itself and seek to create my own style with colors that are both vivid and gentle.
In this exhibition, I hope you will feel the quietness and sense of stillness found on the flat surface of each work. I also hope you will enjoy the melodies and rhythms created by color in the works inspired by classical music.

Keishi Sakurai spends hours observing, sketching, and painting cityscapes and landscapes that quietly change with the passage of time and glow with light. This exhibition features more than 30 new Nihonga (Japanese paintings), created with shimmering metal leaf and carefully layered mineral pigments. All works will be available for purchase. The artist will be present during the exhibition. We invite you to meet him and discover his latest works.

2020年　東京藝術大学大学院修士課程　日本画専攻を修了した、登山画家、崎山あいり。山を登り、その時々の自然と向き合い体感した、記憶の中の景色をテーマに岩絵の具で描きます。大丸神戸店の二回目となる今展では、新作日本画２０余点を展示販売いたします。そして今回来場する作家と共に楽しいひと時をお過ごしください。

Airi Sakiyama is a mountain-climbing artist who completed her Master’s degree in Japanese Painting at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2020. She climbs mountains and creates paintings inspired by the landscapes she has experienced and remembered. Using traditional Japanese mineral pigments, she expresses the beauty and atmosphere of nature from her own memories. This is her second exhibition at Daimaru Kobe. More than 20 new Japanese paintings will be on display and available for purchase. The artist will be at the exhibition. We hope you will enjoy meeting her and discovering her new works.
