真冬の大地を巡るなか、凍った湖をちいさく一列になって渡るエゾシカの群れに遭遇した。
群れを眺めているうち、空と森とシカが一列に連なる自然の摂理を感じ、なにか神聖なものを見てしまったようなおごそかな気持ちになった。
