@RivalCrow "No reason, just something for me to know in just in case,"
Maybe he could check for himself? But that would just be unnecessary if he could simply find out right now.
"Describe the area you last left off in his palace, I'll tell you how far you are then,"
@RivalCrow "Less 'something' and more of a... 'Nothing',"
Best to check just in case. Maybe he could attempt to do something about it if this universe was on the same track as his was.
"By the way, how far would you say you are into Maruki's palace?"
@RivalCrow "At least you won't be stuck here for years, hopefully not,"
Goro doesn't know of any other Akechi's that have suffered his fate and he doesn't want there to be any. Though the reason for that might just be something he doesn't wanna think about.

waking up was difficult. it had been for quite some time.
he hadn't accepted this reality— not that he could witness it at all. a comatose state the man had induced in him. a constant sleep, numbing & unchanging.
all he wanted to do was wake up. see the man he—
@RivalCrow The apathetic and blank expression on his face. He shouldn't think about it too much, it only brought back bad memories he didn't feel like dwelling on. Especially after everything that happened with Kurumiya.
@RivalCrow "15th of January... You're about halfway through how long Maruki's reality usually lasts,"
Hopefully this universe's Joker chooses right. The eyes that were previously analyzing the other self in front of him are now turned to the crowd. The smiles and joy did nothing to (1/?)
@RivalCrow “That was... A while ago,"
Right on the mark. Goro looks away for a moment, thinking. Thinking about what next to say and maybe just maybe thinking of back when they had a chance of getting out.
"Mind telling me what day it is right now?"
@RivalCrow Goro raises an eyebrow at that statement. It's not like he was the only one who could do this sort of thing, it was in fact pretty common.
"Aren't we the same person? Figure it out yourself,"
