Gave a lab tour to an undergrad today, and she was really excited about things that have become routine to me. Pretty reinvigorating to be reminded that I get to do some really cool things as a graduate student

I got a cash prize from the university for a presentation, but since my tuition hadn't been waived/paid yet, it just credited that debt. Very cool way to lose $500. Thanks Wayne!

@lixandria I read a paper at the start of covid showing that for some patient populations virtual visits improved outcomes if there was already an established relationship in person. Which mirrors my feelings on it. Easier to establish a relationship in person. Later visits, both are good
