Georgia Poetry Circuit is bringing Ashley M. Jones to Statesboro campus this Thursday at 6:30 PM (with a book signing to follow). The first Black poet laureate of the state of Alabama, Jones' poems and essays appear in or are forthcoming at CNN, POETRY, and The Oxford American.
It is W&L's great honor to announce that Professor Michael Pemberton has been awarded the 2023 International Writing Centers Association Muriel Harris Outstanding Service Award. Michael is a true exemplar of writing center theory and practice. Congratulations, Dr. Pemberton!
