I love your general perspectives on AI, how can we ask young people to focus on the problems they want to solve when they haven't lived been exposed to the breath of challenges that exist nor have any understanding of the impact that solving these problems would have?

Actually, is you look at the sequence of events. Pelly didn't have to act as he did, publicly calling out someone who hasn't even been in their role long enough to know where the water cooler was located. For the level of insubordination that Pelly engaged, this was absolutely the right response, especially when the offending employee has 37 years of experience and should know better.

You don't have to like or agree with your superiors, but you do have to respect them, and his actions in multiple occasions clearly show that he failed to do so.
