Dear Pittsburgh Steelers,
I’m writing to you as the wife of a die hard Steelers fan and mother of a STEELERS family. My husband has been a fan since he made up his own mind as a child that the Steelers were his team! He is a 36 year old AMAZING father of 5! He was diagnosed with Stage 3C stomach cancer at the age of 34 in April of 2023. After undergoing chemotherapy and a partial gastrectomy, where 70% of his stomach was removed, we have been informed that those treatments were unsuccessful and that the cancer has reoccurred. The Dr recommended he make a bucket list and do as many things as possible with his family, as his prognosis isn’t a good one. The first thing he wrote down was a Steelers HOME game with his 5 children. Coming all the way from Woodland, California, we will be there for the game against the Bengals in January. So we are writing to you to see if there is anything you could do to make this Bucket list day even more special then it already will be!
With Love & Gratitude,
Danyka Luevano

This all could have been avoided.
This is what ownership is willing to abandon—a whole new generation of Oakland fans that are desperate for something to believe in.
Now, they’ll only have the fading stories of the Oakland A’s.

one of my favorite things in the world is how we pick up little habits, phrases, and mannerisms from the people we love. i still say that one phrase my friend used to say a few years ago. i cook something the way my cousin taught or showed me. i discovered some of my favorite songs from someone i don't even talk to anymore. you collect so many pieces as you go about life. you are a mosaic of everyone you've ever loved, even for a heartbeat.
