I think it should be criminal to publicize accusations of anyone’s criminal activity; unless a person is considered a threat to the general public.

Trans activists argue that biological men should be able to compete in women’s sports (or serve time in women’s prisons). But in any other context, we *reject* the notion that an individual has a unilateral right to claim membership in a particular social group. Consider the following example:

Suppose a white man *calls* himself black, wears blackface, and speaks in a racially stereotypical accent. I doubt many liberals would argue that this white man deserves to be “acknowledged” as black, or that affirmative action programs at colleges & corporations should treat him as one. Instead they’d either call him a racist or else try to get him psychiatric help.

The same logic applies for for a biological man claims to be a woman.
