🚨🇪🇸 De la Fuente: “We have to evaluate the situation with Lamine Yamal for our next match vs Saudi Arabia”.
So you think he can play around 45 minutes?
“Surely, something like that”.
🚨 Liam Rosenior: “The reality is, does everything change with or without Champions League? No”.
“The plan, in terms of what this team needs and what we need to be successful, doesn’t. The context around that does. So, money, especially finances, that type of thing”.
The date will be the 18th of April 2026.
The venue will be the Etihad Stadium.
No amount of corners will save them. No dark arts will get them through. No rugby football will shield them.
Open, end-to-end football against a Pep Guardiola team built for destruction, with revenge in their eyes and the Kippax Stand roaring unshakably behind them.
We will be there. Waiting.
This is the most dangerous bill Ghana has ever drafted.
I have read the entire CSA amendment bill.
I break everything down, including its most dangerous part, which quietly gives the CSA power to arrest, freeze assets, and access your data, all in the name of “cybersecurity.”
🚨📺 Arteta: “For me it was a penalty… we were told unless it’s clear and obvious VAR won’t intervene. Thank God we found a way to win”.

My case for @KevinDeBruyne being the best midfielder in Premier League history:
Six Premier League titles (2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24) as of April 2025. More than Gerrard’s zero, Lampard’s three, More in less years than Scholes’ 11 spread over 20 years, or Vieira’s three with Arsenal.
In 2017-18, he was the engine behind City’s 100-point campaign—first team to ever hit that mark in the Premier League—with 16 assists, snagging the inaugural Playmaker of the Season award.
Then 2019-20: 20 assists, tying Thierry Henry’s single-season record, plus 13 goals, earning him his first Player of the Season nod.
Fast forward to 2021-22—15 goals, 8 assists, another Player of the Season award, his second, putting him in elite company with Henry, Ronaldo, and Vidic as multiple winners. Lampard nabbed it once (2004-05), Scholes never, Gerrard once (2005-06), Vieira never.
De Bruyne’s also got two PFA Players’ Player of the Year awards (2019-20, 2020-21), voted by peers—Lampard’s got one (2004-05), Gerrard one (2005-06), Scholes none, Vieira one (2003-04).
2022-23? A treble—Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League—while he nabbed his third Playmaker award with 16 assists. No midfielder’s consistently rewritten the script like that.
His 128 assists (and counting) smashed the Premier League record, blowing past Fàbregas (111) and chasing Giggs (162) in way fewer games.
His 0.73 goal contributions per match (73 goals, 125 assists in 271 games) tops Lampard’s 0.44, Gerrard’s 0.42, and Scholes’ 0.33.
He’s played 35 UCL knockout games, scoring 13 goals and providing 13 assists. That’s 26 direct goal involvements in total, averaging 0.74 per game. What stands out is how clutch he is—21 of those 26 contributions (about 81%) either put City ahead or leveled the score, showing he delivers when it matters most.
He’s currently the record holder for the most knockout-stage goal contributions by a player for a Premier League club, a mark he hit after passing previous benchmarks in recent seasons.
Breaking it down further, since the 2018-19 season, De Bruyne has been involved in goals in 10 of the 12 knockout ties he’s played, with a mix of screamers and pinpoint assists. Highlights include scoring against Real Madrid (multiple times), Lyon, PSG, Atlético Madrid, and Copenhagen, plus assists against Tottenham, Sporting, and Bayern Munich. His long-range shooting is unique and deadly—seven of his 14 total UCL goals (up to last season) came from outside the box, the highest percentage of any player since he joined City in 2015-16.
When facing Real Madrid in the knockouts across three of the last four seasons, scoring each time, including a rocket in the 2022-23 semis and a key equalizer in 2023-24.
Winning, assisting, scoring.. you’d be hard-pressed to find a more complete midfielder in the history of the game.
And when it comes to the Premier League.. Kevin de Bruyne is one of one.
The best ever.
