Gabba | Gabba Works

20+ years in HSE and quality, now building apps with AI. Working towards a bigger app, each small one is me learning a bit of it. Building in public

trying to work out what makes people keep one installed

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@nikasiradze_ good timing, redoing our site with a js robot up top. keen to see what crawlers make of it

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@driftwoodbysea the little fella with the buckets is a nice touch. do you water them much or do they mostly look after themselves

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@jasongrowthdata agents good at files bad at databases, yep. my AI helper runs off plain text notes too

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@code_it_bro 1,850 on the waitlist before launch is solid. did google play make you do the 12 testers for 14 days bit first

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@imaK9999bruh heads up if its a new personal play account google wants 12 testers for 14 days before it can go public. getting Plant Trouble ready for that now

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@nawzadamiri after for me. the letters lighting up says way more than the big LISTEN READ DOWNLOAD words

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@ChaoBuild yep. i shipped PDF Desk with a list of stuff it cant do yet and called it done for now

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@fvrvz_1 finding users for me. building got way faster with AI, finding people didnt lol

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@lxz_dev PDF Desk is free so its made me nothing lol. did get a couple of tester swap offers for Plant Trouble out of it tho

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@chiru_v2 same lol im on round 5 of redoing my own site, thats the messy middle right there

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

did my first little cartoon for Gabba Works on the weekend, never done anything like it before

more of those or stick to build updates https://t.co/vd6DfQe4d0

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

Every morning my AI helper wakes up with no idea who I am or what we're building. So I explain the whole thing again, and every page it re-reads costs me.

Now I'm batching the work so it wakes up less. Made this cartoon to cope 🙃

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@DeepthiConnects getting Plant Trouble ready for its closed test

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@ericrbuilds 3 sales on a saturday is solid. sticking to 1 project till the 25th is a good call

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@carlo_cabanlig 42 metrics down to 6 is a brave cut. same numbers every monday is the bit id steal

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@wheresmys0cks is it old leaves going yellow or new ones coming out pale? id check the soil isnt staying soggy first

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@tumiszn_ pdf back to word is cursed lol. the tables never make it out alive

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@CodeAndCha0s the not adding part is the hardest bit for me lol

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@5amuelchan 74 checks lol. id still want the release button to stay mine

[Gabba | Gabba Works @GabbaBuilds]

@toshit_singh for a small app id guess a handful of power users. they're the ones to ask before cutting anything
