As fans, we sometimes get so caught up in the winning and losing that we lose sight of a simple, but important fact.
Our favorite athletes aren't machines. They're human, too.
We always can and should have great dialogue about our favorite teams and everything that comes with it, including strategy, performance, and opinion. That's why we're fans.
Let's continue to work at using that passion to lift each other up. And that starts with our fellow fans, but should also include players on our team.
Critique and criticism will always be a part of sports, but so should empathy, compassion, and humaneness. There’s a constructive way to get a point across respectfully and without getting personal.
We don’t know why Heddy took a leave of absence nor is an explanation owed to us.
What we need to do now is come together to send him and his family all of our love and support. Heddy is family to Bolts Nation.
And that’s what you do for family.
#GoBolts
Friendly reminder (as too many have criticized his play this season), that we never truly know what someone is going through physically AND/OR mentally.
Nothing but respect and love for our captain. Take all the time you need Heddy 🫡
@RedsFoods I think I have a new hyper fixation on y'all's burritos. They are easy to make at work, organic, high protein, low calorie, and delicious!! I even have non meat options for Fridays during lent!!!!
