Hey everyone, I'm Gabriel. A 19yo Nigerian male who is studying Computer Science as my major in Nnamdi Azikiwe University. I would be a graduate by 2028.
My journey in tech started a long and wany time ago but my current focus is on my demo financial platform, TFundz.
🚨 A 13-year-old just got paid $20,000 for code he gave away for free.
He spent his vacation writing a script to trade on Polymarket.
What he did:
→ Wrote the script
→ Uploaded it to GitHub
→ Made it free
→ Went back to school
Two months later, a trader sent him $20,000.
He said he'd made more than $200,000 in a single month with that script.
He didn't owe the kid anything. No invoice. No contract.
He just wanted to say thank you.
No courses.
No paywall.
No asking for anything back.
While grown adults sell $997 PDFs on how to "monetize your knowledge," he uploaded something that worked and forgot about it.
The internet still pays people who build useful things.
Sometimes it just takes two months.
He went back to doing his homework.

A roadmap when the year is about to end...better late than never I guess
Currently at level 6, I need to learn fundamental devops processes like CI/CD pipelines using docker & kubernetes and the rest
My project for my IT defense is going to use external AI APIs to streamline it
Junior vibe coder:
- installs Claude Code, Antigravity, Codex, or Cursor
- picks an app idea
- sends one big prompt
- starts the build
- spends the rest of the day debugging AI slop
Senior vibe coder:
- configures preferences and memory
- adds agent skills and project rules
- wires up the necessary connectors and MCP tools
- tests the agent first
- explores the product idea with it
- writes a PRD
- plans the tasks and assigns focused pieces
- builds a roughly 70% functional MVP
- works through failures until the product really works
Same tools. Different preparation.
Like this post and I'll show you how to run your vibecoded app on a linux server/VPS (requests a one time DM with the link)
@aymanmsb I feel you but you know the saying, "it's better to not want it and have it than to not have it and want it"
Just be ready either way. Improvements can always come after when your selling point has been clearly demonstrated and explained.
Hey there! 👋
I'm a developer, let's connect 😅
Call me Gabby
I see a lot of people doing this so why not 🤔
Comment your first ever programming language and project
Mine: JavaScript, a bowel and consonant checker 🤓
#SoftwareEngineering#developers#Halloween
With reference to my pinned and first post about TFundz, that'll be on hold as I'll be working on a quiz platform for my IT/SIWES report & project defense which should occur before the end of this year so I don't have much time to work on it fully
Feel free to tag along 😉
What I've been busy with recently 😅
And I'm far from done. My first time building with React and refactoring it as well 🥲
I really need to adapt to uploading my progress more consistently here😔

This is what I used to start learning React, check out the README file for more info
I'd like to get your feedback on my program.
