@PapiChu79098448 @clfitton @marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell The weapons are not the issue. The person had issues, he killed his own Grandmother as well, so how does one know when that is going to happen. No law will predict a positive outcome.
@PapiChu79098448@maordervis@DjQueOne@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell In the Black Market there is no law, that is why it is illegal, serial numbers are scratched off. Bottom line if a person wants to get a hold of a gun they will find a way. Law goes out the window. This individual killed his own Grandmother before he went to go shoot up a school
@DjQueOne@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell The thing is weapons will always find their ways into the hands of bad people. No one can really control that. Why not crack down on Black Market sales of weapons through the Dark Web. It’s impossible unfortunately. If people are desperate they will find a way laws or no laws.
@maordervis@DjQueOne@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell Of course not that is why something called the Black Market exists. Where all you need is the money to buy what you want illegally of course. You can find weapons for sale through the Dark web and that is worldwide.
@KTJ577 @marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell How can we predict that someone will be a mass murderer? We can’t. You can place the strictest gun laws, but people will find a way to own them. It’s called the Black Market. It’s unfortunate this tragedy happened, we also have to look at better secured schools as well.
@DjQueOne@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell Drugs will always be available but who chooses to take them is the situation. Just like guns, it does not pull it’s own trigger someone has to activate it to go off. Just like knives people stab others with them, but knives are not done away with. It comes down to the individual
@smellslikefart7 @JoeReynolds2020@LeaderMcConnell Well this happen several years ago, at a church in Texas not sure exactly where, but a shooter got in and started shooting people, a neighbor near the church heard the commotion and took his own gun to help take down the shooter. So yes the stories are out there.
@LoftyGadgetGuru @BlindSideJesse@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell Well there are ways to make it automatic, but that is illegal. There are weapons out there that people may own such as an Uzi which is a full auto weapon, gun collectors may own those type of weapons, however it is illegal to own.
@BlindSideJesse@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell Automatic weapons are illegal to own in the US, only military and law enforcement own those type of weapons. The AR-15 for example in the military it has an auto option, but not the ones you buy for civilians to own.
@Mark_D_Bertram@BlindSideJesse@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell Actually no it’s not. Mexico for example no one is allowed to own a gun at all. Only policeman and military are allowed. However there are all those cartel members and they have weapons, it’s unfair.
@N2wishn@BlindSideJesse@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell The thing is background checks are in place. This person probably and more than likely got the weapon from the family member who had it. That is why it is so important to secure the weapons at home.
@BlindSideJesse@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell Ok so what your implying is that guns be taken away from everyone, even if their abiding citizens. Self-protection goes out the door as well. It’s the person not the gun that commits the crime.
@JoeReynolds2020@LeaderMcConnell Think about it if you totally wipe guns away from the good abiding citizens, and they run into a life threatening situation, not having their gun for protection could cost them their life. The issue is not guns, it’s the people behind the guns.
@marylap64233025@LeaderMcConnell Guns are not the issue here it is the person behind the weapon that is the problem. This same person also killed his family member. The person had mental health issues. But to point to guns right at the start is not right. I understand what happen is a tragedy.
