@samwwesamwwe@Topps I mean I don’t know the market of the top of my head but I’d be pretty happy with that, especially the trips and Michael’s auto /5. Plus the Rhea is straight PC for you 🔥
I’ve never been a Soccer fan but WOW I’ve watched most of the tournament and this World Cup has amazed me. Here are some things I’ve realized about the sport:
1.) Soccer is wildly physical. These players push, shove, and beat the shit out of each other & a lot of it goes unnoticed by the refs. You gotta be extremely durable to thrive on the pitch
2.) So much theater. These guys sell being “hurt” better than some of my peers in the WWE
3.) Penalty kicks are fkn insane. PK’s gotta be the most exciting/fucked thing in all of sports. Imagine being a goal keeper?? Soccer goes from team sport to individual sport QUICKLY, probably a mental nightmare for the athletes who lose on behalf of an entire country from a tiny mistake
4.) The referees can completely screw the game, the players, and entire nations with one call. That sucks
5.) This event may be the closest thing to world unity. All eyes on these athletes on the biggest stage in the world. Superstars are made. Careers forever changed

Fun little update for anyone who saw any part of my Ebay authentication shipping saga.
Quick recap: I received a 2025 Topps Chrome Platinum Jose Ramirez Red Prism that got dinged after partially sliding out of the semi-rigid inside the fancy little eBay authentication box.
@eBay bot jumped into my post and told me to contact them, so I did.
Started in chat. Got bumped to a supervisor pretty quickly. She asked if she could call instead of chat, so we did. The fact they quickly shuffled me to a non-outsourced individual is an indicator that they might actually be taking this seriously.
Honestly? It was a really good conversation.
I stressed how severe this issue is, how common it seems to be, and how wild it is that eBay/PSA hasn’t addressed it yet when the fix seems incredibly simple. Just secure the opening of the semi-rigid with a sticker. That’s it.
Desiree was extremely helpful. She said she’s familiar with the problem, understands why it’s frustrating- for us as well as her team, and promised to get it in front of the right people. She even notated my account info and said she’d like to call or message me if/when she gets confirmation that the process has been fixed.
She also credited my account roughly half of what I paid, which was honestly more than I expected considering there’s technically only a 3-day claim window and the card arrived June 30 while I was out of town.
So, for my specific situation, I think they handled it fairly.
Big picture, I sincerely hope this turns into an actual process change. Add a sticker. Add tape. Add literally anything that keeps the card from sliding out of the holder during shipping. It just seems so simple.
If this happens to you, I encourage you contact them within 3 days of receiving the card. And have photos ready. The more people they have to refund for this, the better chance we have of an actual remedy.
If Desiree follows through and I get confirmation that they fixed the process, I’ll be genuinely happy to post that update.
Come on, Desiree. You got this!
Ah yes, the seller has reposted the Superfractor I bought and paid for at close to 10x the price.
This is the greed that things have come to. I will be reporting this auction, even though it’s more funny to leave it up.
Original sale was $2,500
Great job @ebay. Now my 1/1 has two dinged corners.
Unfortunately a $235 sale price after tax & shipping was just enough to notch the $250 threshold for unwanted authentication services.
Just so you are aware- if the card arrives damaged, “Yep, that’s a real card” isn’t especially helpful.
If this is the standard, I’d appreciate you removing yourselves from the equation next time.
At this point, I trust random sellers with bubble wrap more than the supposed “experts”.

We are hoping the parent of this child sees this as we are certain they did not see it happen in real time. This was not some grand heist or anything but we want to use this as a teaching moment for this child so they understand, no matter the value of something, you do not steal, ever.
This happened yesterday July 2nd
I bought this card yesterday on eBay for a fair price, and the seller just canceled the order. I already know what happened, but I'm going to give him until 1pm ET to respond before I put his information up everywhere. If this card shows up - I paid for it and it should belong to me.
@tomlinsoncooper Planning on seeing it again this weekend (3rd time)
Favorite scene has to be the whole plant scene. I don’t know how Bear didn’t move 6 countries away that second
If you’re visiting for a very large sporting event & you happen to discover RANCH while you’re here… pls pack it in your CHECKED BAG on the way home.
Thank you.
