We show that the clustering of K2P channels at nodes and the AIS is AnkG-dependent and reveals an evolutionarily conserved clustering motif. These findings enhance our understanding of neuronal signaling but also emphasize AnkG’s central role in assembling excitable domains.
I have successfully passed my qualification exam!! I am now officially a PhD candidate!! Thank you to my mentor @MattRasband for pushing me throughout this process and to my committee members for their efforts in all of this. #phdlife#phdstudent
congratulations to Gabe Escobedo for successfully passing his Neuroscience Graduate Program qualifying exam today! I'm so glad you are in my lab! Keep your eye on Gabe... great things to come.
