Found this old pre-1970’s science book at an opshop and on one page was NASA’s space mission plan up to year 2000. I found it amusing and sad at the same time. Look at what they think we would be able to accomplish by 1970 onwards.
Is there a guide online on acceptable use of references for art?
Some advocate using art references (without just copying them outright, of course) while others slam those who use them, saying they stole the poses of the reference, traced them, etc.
Some more Procreate brush experimentation. This time I also tested colouring with the same brush I used to draw each face. I think I know which one I’ll pick.
How about you friend? Do you have a preference?

Retainer Mardeen Sawyer. Continuing my experimentation in colouring with this one. Made a few false starts but found this particular process slower than I needed it to be. May try a different way next time.

Recently, https://t.co/tAx9SPZ6P6 made many of their images public domain (CC0).
I've downloaded every single piece of art (4.5k+) and named them with metadata (title, author, etc) for easy searching.
Link in the replies! Likes and RTs are very much appreciated.

This print will be taken out of the print rotation in 48 hours. If you'd like to pick them up, this is your chance - I don't know if they'll be there again, as I draw new art anyways.
Have a nice week! 🌿
Folks in the game industry are having a rough time right now, and I know a lot of folks in the game industry follow me… so if you’re looking for work feel free to post below so others can see you’re available.
Yoda agrees :)
Want the mountains on your fantasy map to look more three dimensional?
Then imagine their basic form more like a pyramid and less like a triangle. This will give you the building block to more dynamic form the blends with the rest of the landscape.
Hi #PortfolioDay !
I'm Simon, a part-time artist who is homesick for a world that never existed - which is why I'm drawing my own fantasy world "Argenta" that is being explored by a small wizard. 🧙🏼♂️🌿
@Owen_Stephens Months ago I would have just said no. These days, we leverage AI to automate and speed up software design and development where I work. I can see the benefits of AI specially in the optimisation of workflow. I would still read part 2 if I liked part 1 now.
