@Tsar_Martyr "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
@BenMcCallem@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes Statistically speaking it does fix it, about about 97-99.7% of the time, it boosts confidence, relationship satisfaction, reduced anxiety, depression, suicidality and substance abuse

@Tsar_Martyr Just because atheism doesn't provide a moral code of its own doesn't mean no atheist has a moral code, just because beliefs and opinions are subjective doesn't mean I have to respect all of them
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes You are aware gender affirming care significantly reduces the risk of suicide statistically, so why would taking the course of action that reduces the chance of a child committing suicide be worthy of imprisonment
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes In order to get access to HRT under 18 you have to have gone to several psychologists who all came to the same conclusion that yes, you have gender dysphoria and parental consent is required
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes This is literally the first time kids were mentioned in this whole conversation do NOT act like that was your point the whole time, and obviously don't let kids transition willy nilly, that doesn't happen in the first place
@SHITCOIN_SAM@FightWithMemes The way I process it in my head sexuality is more focused on gender than sex, like for me biological sex doesn't really matter, gender matters a lot more in what I'm attracted to so I usually refer to sexuality in terms of gender attraction rather than sex attraction
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes Have you ever genuinely interacted with a transgender person? Because there is zero way you come to the conclusion that being transgender is a crime against humanity if your view is grounded in reality, I have several trans friends and they're the best people I know
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes It's like people being left handed rising statistically in the 1900s, it doesn't rise because it's a new thing altogether that was never there, there were always left handed people, they just whipped you for using it
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes And yet they drop off SIGNIFICANTLY after transitioning, because even after the transition that's not the only factor, people like you for example, the widespread hatred bigotry towards them just for being them is hard to deal with, like parents disowning their kids over it
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes Yes, biologically we are near identical, but the circumstances of our living situations are so wildly different they aren't remotely comparable, biology is not the only factor at play, societal evolution is also an important factor in this conversation
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes Regretting/de transitioning is something that happens in about 0.3-2% of cases, should we really keep 99.7-98% of trans people locked up in a body that they genuinely despise or put more effort into researching gender dysphoria so we understand it more and the 2% doesn't happen
@JacobWi14191823@FightWithMemes Alright then what do we call intersex people? So either that description doesn't follow, or there's more than two biological sexes, and therefore even ignoring gender being a separate social construct from sex gender isn't a simple binary, pick your poison
@GirkeHanjo@FightWithMemes We don't live in hunter gatherers times anymore, making sense for survival doesn't matter, humans are basically a completely separate entity to the rest of nature at this point so the appeal to nature fallacy doesn't work
