Reports show nearly $2 million in state funds went to a group now helping lead opposition to citizen-led ballot initiatives protecting girls' sports and restricting sex-change surgeries for minors.

Colorado taxpayers are funding the opposition of the Colorado citizen-led ballot initiatives to protect girls sports and protect kids from irreversible sex-change surgeries.

Nearly $2,000,000 in state funds have been paid to One Colorado Education Fund through grants approved by One Colorado-endorsed @RepLorenaGarcia.

And One Colorado is facilitating the PAC opposing both ballot measures.🧵

Another day, another Dem calling to defund and dismantle DHS—the very agency responsible for protecting our homeland from foreign and domestic threats.

First it was ‘defund the police.’ Now it’s defund DHS.

The result? Overdose rates continue to SURGE in Colorado while others across the country decline.

Denver’s recorded 18 homicides in 2026, an increase of 50% over the same period in 2025.

Despite Colorado making up only 2% of the nation’s population, nearly 10% of all human trafficking occurs in our state.

Let’s be clear: the Left’s calls to abolish 'ICE' = 'defund the police.'

Which means, Dems are okay with your kids overdosing and dying from drugs like fentanyl, and living in communities where politicians pass policy that eliminate public safety!

But what are @JaredPolis and his Denver Democrats focused on? Reducing local representation on the RTD board, expanding gubernatorial appointment power, and increasing board salaries.

Coloradans do not want more bureaucracy or political reshuffling, they want a transit system that works.

While Polis continues pushing an anti-road agenda and prioritizing ideological transit policies, working families are stuck dealing with traffic, dangerous potholes along I-25, increasingly failing infrastructure, and an Governor who can’t even balance his own budget.

Colorado deserves accountability and practical transportation solutions, not another government restructuring exercise.

Statement from Weld County Elected Republican Representatives

We are aware of the arrest of Weld County Republican Party Chair Hunter Rivera by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office on charges related to an operation targeting child predators.

These charges are sickening, horrifying, and beyond reprehensible. Anyone who preys on children deserves no defense, no excuses, and no place anywhere near public life or our party.

The seriousness of these charges are utterly incompatible with continued service as Chair of the Weld County Republican Party.

We are calling for the immediate revocation of his position as Weld County Republican Party Chair.

There is no room in our party for conduct of this nature or charges of this gravity. The legal process must now move forward, the facts must be fully established, and justice must be served.

We stand unequivocally with children, families, and every law enforcement officer working to protect children from sexual exploitation and abuse.

We are grateful to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, its investigators, and all law enforcement personnel involved in this operation for their work to protect children and pursue justice.

Our prayers are for justice to be served, for victims to be protected and supported, and for all families affected by this matter.
