One major risk that poses a threat to communication is the MAR and potential mistakes. Its very important that no mistakes are made there and to prevent them nurses should verify information and review the MAR before administering any drug. #NURS3106 #M3W7

Regarding ineffective communication, a problem could arise if the receiver sends too much information and the real message gets lost and the message is missed. To avoid the problem, it’s better to keep messages concise and use important details only. #NURS3106 #M3W6

In Mrs. H’s case there was definitely an incident of malpractice. Mrs. H had a history of refusing treatment and medication which should have been taken into account when the nursing staff was trying to help her and a physician should have been called right away.#NURS3106 #M2W4

As Mr. Green’s nurse, I would implement the element of beneficence to provide care and respect for the patient. I would also try to show him his options and talk to my supervisor right away. #NURS3106 #M2W3

If I had to choose today, I would go into pediatric nursing or labor and delivery. I think both fields are very different but have similarities. I look forward to gaining experience in both practices so that I can make my decision. #NURS3106 #M1W2
