@antwitacamera I find the cutout to be humorous and I expect many Prep students will be quick to take pictures with the Pontiff. Maybe the religion classes will take their students to the cutout to discuss the clothing worn by Pope Francis.

The congregation has ended with Morris talking about how students can help raise money and past experiences he had with donations. He asks those who seek JUG redemption to pick up and move the chairs.

Father Cassidy made his closing statement which ended the service. The service has now moved towards talks about the mission drive from Anthony Locricchio which is currently being spoken on by students running the campaign.

Father Cassidy's reflection is now over. He used it as an opportunity to speak on religious hypocrisy and a story about a student he had. The distribution of ashes begins.

The Presider for the service is Fr. Matthew Cassidy, SJ, and the Cantor is senior Michael Appell joined with the rest of Vox. Saint Peter's Prep clergy members are also expected to be a part of the service.

Robbie Walker, another junior at St. Peter's, would rather have a community period at the moment, but he understands it is a Catholic school and should hold Catholic ceremonies and events.

All class years have been called down to the gym now, and the prayer service is about to begin. All faculty is present at the service, but there are some who will not attend due to their religious beliefs.

Pax Ardanz, a junior at the St. Peter’s Prep, believes it is good that the high school holds this prayer service since it is a Jesuit institution, but is not particularly excited by the service since he is not a Catholic.

Mr. Morris has now begun calling down class years to the gym to attend prayer service. It is supposed to last 40 minutes; replacing community period. The dean asks the students to leave their belongings in their class or their lockers. He calls the senior class to the gym first.

Ash Wednesday, a Christian holy day marking the first day of Lent, is observed today at St. Peter's Prep through a prayer service taking place in the morning. The Jersey City high school changed their schedule to an Assembly 2 Order, allowing for an assembly in the mid-morning.
