Sodium fluoride was once industrial waste from aluminum production.

In the 1940s, aluminum giants like ALCOA were drowning in toxic sodium fluoride byproduct from smelting. Disposing of it properly was expensive.

A Receita Federal divulgou um novo levantamento com as profissões que concentram os maiores patrimônios médios declarados no IRPF (Imposto de Renda da Pessoa Física). Os dados, referentes às declarações entregues em 2026, mostram que titulares de cartório, integrantes do Judiciário e membros do Ministério Público lideram o ranking.

As informações fazem parte de um painel estatístico lançado pela Receita Federal, que reúne dados consolidados das declarações do Imposto de Renda de 2025. A ferramenta permite consultar indicadores por profissão, patrimônio, renda, estado, faixa etária, sexo, raça e cor, sem identificar individualmente os contribuintes.

Na liderança do ranking aparecem os titulares de cartório, com patrimônio médio de R$ 3,28 milhões. Em seguida estão os membros do Poder Judiciário, com média de R$ 2,93 milhões, e os integrantes do Ministério Público, com R$ 2,90 milhões. Diplomatas e profissionais de carreiras afins ocupam a quarta posição, com patrimônio médio de R$ 2,52 milhões.

Completam as dez ocupações com maior patrimônio médio declarado os atletas e desportistas (R$ 1,71 milhão), dirigentes, presidentes e diretores de empresas industriais (R$ 1,66 milhão), produtores agropecuários (R$ 1,58 milhão), servidores de carreira do Banco Central e da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (R$ 1,44 milhão), médicos (R$ 1,43 milhão) e dirigentes, presidentes e diretores de empresas comerciais (R$ 1,39 milhão).
