This figure was a fundamental pillar of education in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the Caribbean.

DOMIC-CON
As part of the 2026 Dominican Book and Culture Festival, we created the first edition of DOMIC-CON in New York City. This summer brought together illustrators from the Dominican diaspora and the island, creating a space where music and live drawing came together.

Los Nadie shares the story of the 2022 Melilla massacre, where African migrants were treated as disponsables bodies at Europe’s southern border. I illustrating these stories was my way of honoring the names of those who were silenced.
