@NgarivhumeJ Gukurahundi at work. It started with Nhari, then Matabeleland in 1983, and 2008 election rerun and now it continues unabated in situations like this one. Zimbabwe needs leaders who respect human rights. Arrest these criminal police officers.
@NgarivhumeJ Here is to hoping that the diversity you are talking about is genuine and Sungano will not be another Zimbabwe party where the President is automatically Shona, and the succession line is Shona names only. We are where we are because of tribalism.
Zimbabwe’s tribalism is packaged in two tiers: macro-tribalism and micro-tribalism. The Shona in general tribalise the people of Matabeleland. This morphs into Shona internal tribalism when it comes to the presidency of the country.
@mamakaCleo Zulus and xhosas think they’re more South African than other tribes. During Mugabe people the zezuru people thought they were more Zimbabwean than other tribes. Now it’s the midlands people.
They'd rather buy each other cars & shower themselves with cash than fix our hospitals or build roads. Meanwhile, 2.5k women die in childbirth every year due to poor maternity care. Imagine what that money could do to save lives. It's not about people but themselves

Amhlope Nobukhosi Tshuma who stormed to a gold medal yesterday at the 2026 Comrades Marathon, finishing second in 5:53:36 behind South Africa’s Gerda Steyn.
The achievement comes just a few weeks after Nobukhosi’s podium finish at the Two Oceans Marathon, cementing her place among Africa’s elite ultra-marathon runners.
I know I speak on behalf of all the residents of @CityofBulawayo when I say how proud we are of you flying Zimbabwe’s flag so high.
We look forward to welcoming and honoring you at City Hall.
