2025 has been a remarkable year defined by significant milestones and meaningful progress. During the year, we launched our new Abuja and Lagos offices, introduced our AI-powered chatbot, BIMI, formalized key partnerships through strategic MOUs, and marked the 10th anniversary of the State of States Report.
It has truly been a year of impact and growth.
Our sincere appreciation goes to our donors, partners, and supporters, whose unwavering support made these achievements possible.
Let’s do more in 2026!🚀

As he steps into a new chapter, we wish him continued success. We are grateful for the standards he set, the people he invested in, and the lasting impact of his work, which will continue to guide us moving forward.
This was the moment when it finally dawned.
I am grateful for the solid eight years of my career journey.
I am grateful to everyone who made this journey beautiful, particularly to @seunonigbinde, the man ahead of his generation. Thank you.
To the next chapter 🚀🚀🚀
Last week, we paused to honor eight impactful years as we sent our former Country Director, @GabsynGreat, forth in grand style.
It was a meaningful moment of reflection, appreciation, fun, and gratitude for years defined by thoughtful leadership, progress, and shared purpose.
2025 was a defining year for Nigeria's health sector. Our Nigeria Country Director, Uche Amaonwu reflects on the county's first-ever National Dialogue on Health Financing, bringing together federal, state, and local leaders alongside partners like the Gates Foundation.
Despite global funding cuts, Nigeria demonstrated resilience in securing sustainable health financing to ensure mothers, children, and families have access to functional health facilities, medicines, and skilled workers.
Looking ahead to 2026, Uche highlights the importance of turning these commitments into real, measurable progress by ensuring every dollar raised is spent efficiently on interventions that save the most lives.
Through leaders like Uche, we are reminded that hope, collaboration, and determination can drive meaningful change. @Gates_Nigeria

@FadeyiHenry@BudgITng@OwoOseDevforum@TrackaNG@Jolayemy@Thegrey8 Hi active citizen😊, thank you for identifying this issue and bringing it up. We have checked, and it was an error in the way the LGA name was written at the backend. This has now been updated, and the error is fixed. You can also check from your end. Thank you.
Cracked walls, leaking roof, and barely any space — the Limawa Ward A School Clinic was everything but a proper healthcare facility.
For over two decades, it served nearly 7,300 people, including residents from neighbouring communities, despite its deplorable state.
Through @BudgITng’s SCEAP project and community-led advocacy, the clinic has been demolished and rebuilt. It now boasts a standard delivery suite, functional wards, spacious consultation rooms, and improved sanitation — restoring both quality healthcare and community trust.

We commend the bold action of the Nigerian Senate in calling the Executive to account on the status of Budget Implementation Reports (BIR). The last publicly available BIR was for Q3 2024 — nearly a year ago.
This development reinforces our earlier call to the @FinMinNigeria and the @BudgetOfficeNG to uphold the provisions of the Fiscal Responsibility Act (2007) by ensuring that Quarterly Budget Implementation Reports are published promptly.
Transparency in budget performance is not optional — it’s a legal and moral obligation. Citizens deserve to know how public funds are managed.
