🚨I still don’t feel completely comfortable with Marcus Rashford coming back into the team.

Maybe Carrick believes he can get the best version of him again, and I really hope he’s right, but this cannot turn into a situation where Rashford walks back through the door and is automatically treated like one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Cunha and Dorgu earned that left side. They played a massive part in dragging this club back into the Champions League, and it would be completely unfair to push either of them aside just because Rashford has returned.

He should have to fight for every minute, show the right attitude in training and prove that he still has the hunger to play for Manchester United. Reputation should mean nothing now.

The good thing is that the squad finally seems ‘UNITED’ again. The mood around the club looks better, the standards feel higher and there seems to be real togetherness in the dressing room. That has taken a long time to rebuild, and it cannot be allowed to slip for anyone.

I’ll support Rashford if he wears the shirt again, because ultimately I want every Manchester United player to succeed. But Carrick has to handle this very carefully.
