I read dozens of books a year.
But when I finish them, I forget the lines that moved me most.
So I built a tiny app to capture quotes from real books in no time.
Here's why I made it (and how it works):
🧵
I have a lot of ideas for where my app dailypush could go, but right now I’m focused on validating the concept
Twitter hasn’t been very effective, LinkedIn a bit more.
For people familiar with HN or Reddit: how would you approach them to get early, honest feedback?
The experiment is live here: https://t.co/GCwLmTMgpJ
I’d love to hear from devs: does the challenge of finding good articles resonate with you?
Would a curated system like this, focused on what senior devs actually want to read, interest you?
A month ago I added community-based signals to a dev article aggregator I’m building.
I didn’t stop there because my goal isn’t to surface trending posts.
It’s to surface the article that senior devs actually want to read.
This keeps making me think: what makes a dev article "good" ?
Content length, proportion of code, clarity of the angle… what do you think?
And given that, how would you weigh heuristics, LLM analysis, and community signals in ranking?
Just rolled out a cleaner, more readable design on https://t.co/Q469zGRUlz! There’s now a popularity score based on signals from Hacker News, Twitter, and Reddit to help you instantly find the must-read articles.
Fellow devs, tell me what you think :)

Bonjour Trainline,
J'ai la très mauvaise surprise de voir que votre support client n'est pas capable de gérer l'échange de billet pour un TER annulé. La SNCF me renvoie vers l'agence (vous) et votre support vers la SNCF 🤦 👏
On fait quoi maintenant?
Who would ship a web app in 2025 without light/dark theme ?😅
