Evidence emerging at the Madlanga Commission appears to raise questions about the strength of the criminal case against Lt Gen Dumisane Khumalo and other senior Crime Intelligence officers.

While the testimony may cast doubt on aspects of IDAC’s case, it remains for the courts to decide the outcome. However, the NPA head could decide to drop charges following representations.
