Awesome job by the guys on shift tonight at @GaffneyFire with another successful well rescue. Child was found at approximately 50’ holding onto wires trying to stay afloat in the water. Rescue was made and transported by Regional 1 for evaluation. @gaffney2400 @WSPA7

Gaffney firefighters performed a Technical Rescue this afternoon on Broad St with a pt that fell through the floor of a home and down a open well shaft. We were assisted by Blacksburg Fire in successfully rescuing the pt from 15ft down under the home. @GaffneyFire @gaffney2400

Gaffney firefighters responded to back to back working structure fires yesterday. As crews were clearing from the first fire on 3rd ave we were dispatched to another on Evans st. No injuries and both fires were defensive due to collapse occurring on arrival. @GaffneyFire

This past week Gaffney firefighters worked on fire ground evolutions. Cherokee County 911 also participated with dispatchers working the evolutions just like a actual call. Dispatchers then got a look at the equipment we carry. @GaffneyFire @gaffney2400 @bpeeler7503
