Continued strong momentum on our vaccination programme. Well over 100,000 administered in the first two days this week. Over 4.1M done to date with almost 67% adults had a Dose 1 & 44% a dose 2. #covid19 hospitalisations at 40 & ICU at 16. Every day more protections. @HSELive
Nurse to patient ratios began in Queensland 5 years ago. Research shows cost of extra RNs was less than half of savings on prevention death, adverse events, readmission and no. of in -patient days. Again we prove nurses are an investment not a financial drain to be pruned
Thank you to Ministers @HMcEntee@ThomasByrneTD, Damien English and esteemed colleagues for joining us at our Vaccination facility in Simonstown, Navan. We look forward to welcoming the people of Meath, in line with the government's vaccine allocation groups/categories #hse
Thank you to Maeve Prendergast and Catherine Boland for their fantastic example of community nursing excellence at conference today, driven by care, compassion and their commitment to patient centred community care #NursesandMidwivesIrl2020@chiefnurseIRE@IADNAM1@HSEvalues
Delighted to have virtually attended conference today. Very proud of all the PHNs and community RGNs who have risen to the challenge of covid, but especially those in County Meath. #NursesandMidwivesIrl2020
No new deaths announced today from #Covid19. Huge credit to the public. But I also want to thank all healtcare workers. Managing ICU surge, testing & tracing centres, community assessment hubs, isolation centres, teleHealth. All of these, and more, make a difference. @HSELive
