@ChrisConte79 I agree. I always felt that they were trying to play everything through Hughes and it didn’t allow every player to play at their best. Hughes will do well in Minne because he’s not quarterbacking every play. The Canucks will do better as the puck will be distributed better.
@jabo_vancouver I always liked Karlsson. I remember in his first game, he hit the post. It does some like he doesn’t move his feet as quickly, but he has lots of power in each stride. He also continues to improve despite small minutes each game.
Interesting little note: as I walked up to the plaza I noticed someone had left a little pot of flowers with a picture of Quinn at the base of the Roger Neilson statue.
Someone from the Canucks quickly came and took them away.
@RJHenderson7 The offers made at the deadline defined the rest of the season. If a first round pick was offered, they may have stepped back and said we’ll write off this season. Since that didn’t happen, they decided to keep him as a rental to push for the playoffs. Also, he avgs 25g.
