Here is my story on Dave Brandt if you want to read it. If you have questions, you can call me, too.
I'll probably answer unless I'm busy with something. If you leave me a voicemail, there is a 50/50 chance I'll return it promptly. You can also text me.

“I was told ‘You’re in Pennsylvania so this doesn’t affect you.'" Then, she told the woman at the Norfolk Southern help center their address.
“All the people at the table looked at each other. They said ‘We didn’t know anybody lived that close in Pa.’”

@ScottIrwinUI When I was a kid sometime in the early 1970s I went with my dad to a dairy field day in southern Ohio and won this Harveststore water cooler as a door prize. It’s a good cooler and I’ve used it a lot over the years, but my dad never bought one of the silos.

Feel free to DM me any questions (because I'll give you the skinny)

Just a pawn? I was listing hydraulic couplers for sale online and Facebook auto-filled the add, putting them in the “Toys and Games” category under “Chess.” Oddly, there is no category for “Hydraulic couplers: John Deere old style.”
@wagonerachel Well done on this story. I’m curious if you’ll get much reader reaction, because, you know, stigma. But I bet you helped somebody even if you never know about it.

Dear overly helpful login system: I misspelled the answer to my security question on purpose to make it harder for creepy random hackers to guess. Please quit auto correcting the spelling then telling me I have the wrong answer and locking me out. Thank you.
I don’t have chickens, so I don’t mind that a fox is spending cold nights in my feed room. He seems to have taken care of the rodents and I’d much rather see a fox than a rat. I just wish he would stick around long enough for me to get a good picture.
People think they’re baking from scratch putting chunks of refrigerated dough in the oven 🙄. At least I unwrap a stick of butter and mix it up with some white powders and and maybe some brown goo or brown chunks. I bet my great grandma would look up from her butter churn like🙄.
The phosphorus in liquid manure can be a problem in areas with concentrated livestock production because many fields already have high phosphorus levels. So Theresa Dirksen has been working with livestock producers to remove manure phosphorus.
